Torna in Italia dopo l’ultima edizione del 2000 il SASP (Symposium on Atomic, Cluster and Surface Physics), la conferenza che riunisce ogni due anni gli studiosi nel campo della fisica atomica, molecolare, dei cluster, del plasma e delle superfici e aree correlate.
L’edizione 2024 si terrà ad Andalo, nel territorio Paganella-Dolomiti di Brenta, dal 28 gennaio al 2 febbraio.
A Treventur, che affianca il Dipartimento di Fisica dell’Università di Trento, referente scientifico e organizzatore del Simposio in rappresentanza dell’Italia, è affidata l’organizzazione generale compresa l’accommodation di relatori e partecipanti, fra cui molti ospiti internazionali, che si confronteranno in particolare sul tema delle interazioni collisionali che coinvolgono ioni, elettroni, fotoni, atomi, molecole, nanoparticelle e superfici.
Sarà assegnata, come in ogni edizione, la prestigiosa Medaglia d’oro Erwin Schrödinger istituita nel 1992 dal Comitato Scientifico Internazionale SASP: un riconoscimento ai migliori risultati scientifici in relazione ai temi e attività del Simposio da parte dei ricercatori.
Ed è con impegno ed entusiasmo che l’Università di Trento e Treventur si preparano ad accogliere in Italia, e in particolare in Trentino, questo importante appuntamento internazionale di studio, confronto e progresso scientifico.
